Tobacco Tax Revenue Goes To Health Care
Armed with strong support from Colorado voters, CoPIRG continues to work to ensure that the new revenue generated by the Amendment 35 tobacco tax will reach the intended health care programs as planned.

In early June, Gov. Owens signed CoPIRG-backed legislation that would allow Coloradans to freeze their credit reports. Once frozen, the credit reporting agency must have authorization by the consumer to issue the credit report to a lender.
