Lobbying Reform On November Ballot
On Nov. 7, Colorado voters will decide on a measure for ethics in government. This summer, CoPIRG volunteers and staff helped gather the signatures necessary to qualify Amendment 41.
Making Energy Efficiency Part Of The Fall Elections
CoPIRG celebrated the passage of the Energy Efficient Colorado bill this past summer. The bill would have saved $525 million dollars in energy bills by 2030. Unfortunately, for the second time in three years, Gov. Owens vetoed increasing energy efficiency.
